I am vegan/vegetarian/raw foodist. I probably left you confused! This is probably the most difficult thing to explain. I am vegan for the most part due to health issues from strict competition dieting for so many years and food allergies/sensitivities I recently discovered. I do like to cheat every now and then and have cheese which makes me vegetarian for that meal. (Which is a handful of times a year usually after a competition or a shoot.) And I eat about 80% of my food raw. The enzymes of raw food nourish your body in so many ways, I could probably write a book. Bottom line – I take pride in my health and eating this way I also do my part to help the planet and save the animals. It’s a win win situation. I am really big into being eco-friendly these days. This lifestyle has me reborn. I spilled my guts out in the November 2010 Natural Muscle magazine.
Several studies concluded that diets low in fat (under 15% of total calories) significantly decreased testosterone levels while diets higher in fat (above 30% of total calories) increased serum testosterone levels. Rather than continuing with this discussion I will provide a link to an article which covers the subject quite nicely. To simplify everything that I have said, it seems that one should not lower fat below 15% of daily calories unless they would like to face extreme testosterone deficiencies. Likewise, one should not increase fat to say 40% in order to increase testosterone. Although fat increases testosterone to a degree, it is important to remember that testosterone is only a small piece of the larger puzzle. There are many other hormones and factors involved in building muscle other than just testosterone. By increasing fat to extremely high levels, there will be less “space” for carbohydrates and protein, both of which are very important for aforementioned reasons.
Chyna then feuded with Chris Jericho over the belt, defeating him at Survivor Series , but losing the title to him at WWE Armageddon . The two faced off again in a match on the edition of December 28 of SmackDown! , which ended controversially with both wrestlers pinning each other. As a result, then "head of authority" Stephanie McMahon -Helmsley declared them co-champions. At the Royal Rumble , Jericho and Chyna defended the title against Hardcore Holly in a Triple Threat match to determine the Intercontinental Champion, which Jericho won; Chyna's "co-champions" reign is no longer recognized by WWE and is now considered a continuation of Jericho's second Intercontinental reign. Afterwards, Laurer briefly teamed with Jericho.
