Like any medication, steroids come with potential side effects. Corticosteroids are the most common option for sinus infection treatments. They can have mild to severe side effects, so doctors tend to only prescribe them when they are a necessity. If the effects of untreated sinusitis is worse than potential side effects of steroids, your doctor may prescribe them. The side effects of steroids also tend to go away fairly soon after you receive your dose. If you are taking oral steroids, make sure to never skip your dose without talking to your doctor.
For dry eyes… I’ve seen a lot of doctor and some actually have a piece of the puzzle
Some people do not close their eyes completely shut, I did not know why so I had dry eye after many doctor this one young intern eye doctor goes close your eyes I did and he goes your right eye is not closing all the way wear a comfortable eye mask to bed this will keep the eye closed and lubricated. And he said that if I had sinus or plastic surgery I better be taking serrapeptase or putting castor oil on my face every evening and then putting a warm pack on my face or sitting in steamy shower to let it soak in to break up the scar tissue and he told me up my vitamin A , E and flax seed oil
Thank you for responding. About neti pots, my wife thinks that using one (squeeze bottle type) four years ago CAUSED my left inner ear issues. I don’t necessarily agree, I think my issues started before I started using one, but is it possible that the solution could get in there? I’m tempted to try the Sinupulse, but am not sure if I should.
Also, my general doctor mentioned that I could get a tube inserted into my left ear (as is done with kids who get a lot of ear infections), which is I guess not a big deal, to possibly drain out any fluid. What is your opinion of this?
Yesterday I had a “double vision” episode (something different from an aura) which lasted maybe five minutes, and somewhat freaked me out. Soon thereafter I had the fullness in the left ear and some intermittent sharp pain behind the left eye area. Sinus or migraine related? Is some optic nerve getting pushed by pressure? Could the sinus issues trigger the migraine issues and anxiety?
Sorry I have so many questions, just still trying to get to the bottom of this! I will try the diet & detox today, are all the items you mentioned at a health food store? Last thing: what is ACV? Thanks, MAC
